Paths to Purpose didn’t just launch two new seasons — they built a lasting legacy of encouragement for students navigating today’s complex career landscape.
And we made sure their message sounded as powerful as their mission.

Career and Meaning-Focused Podcast
🧠 the vision
Paths to Purpose set out to answer a big question for college students and young professionals:
Can you build a meaningful career — and how do you find your path after graduation?
Co-hosted by a law student and a finance professor from Cambridge, the podcast featured interviews with nonprofit leaders, startup founders, artists, and academics, all sharing real-world stories about finding work that matters.
But behind the scenes, sustaining the podcast was becoming impossible without support.
⚙️ the challenges
Editing, technology, and guest management were overwhelming the 2-person team
Audio quality needed upgrades from Zoom recordings
Branding and music felt outdated and disjointed, and no go-to website for discoverability
No central system for episode management, marketing, or guest communication
Limited budget required creative, sustainable solutions

✨ the magic ✨
Originally brought on for basic editing, I quickly became the full producer and creative lead, helping Paths to Purpose create two more seasons.
✅ Here’s what we delivered:
🎧 full-service audio editing: cutting filler, removing stammers/stutters, fixing general mistakes, cleaning up plosives, reverb, comping takes, and reducing and harshness common in remote recording
🎚️ Live engineering of remote interviews with CleanFeed for broadcast-quality sound
🎶 Custom lo-fi inspired original theme music to better connect with their college-age audience
🎨 New podcast artwork, social graphics, and full visual rebrand — voted on by their demographic
🖥️ Designed and built a Wix website with embedded players, bios, social links, and contact forms
🛠️ Created a Notion workspace for all project management: guest checklist templates, interview questions, social assets, scheduling calendars, team actions, and grant research
🗣️ Provided tech support and troubleshooting during live recordings
📝 Wrote or polished episode descriptions and managed Buzzsprout publishing, including scheduled releases
🤝 Guest outreach and booking, including high-profile composers like John Psathas and David Long (music editor for The Lord of the Rings trilogy)
🎤 Co-hosted select interviews to support solo episodes
🔄 Transitioned their podcast hosting to Spotify for Podcasters post-project — eliminating future hosting fees while keeping the archive live
